Here’s a little before & after tour of our first home in the Short North neighborhood of Columbus.  This is where our journey in real estate started for us!

What we’ve done:

Master Bedroom

What we’ve done:

  • Created a wood pallet accent wall (more details on how we did it here)
  • Built an upholstered bed – Painted the walls Vail by Allen + Roth
  • Dressed the windows with curtains from Ikea

Guest Bedroom

What we’ve done:

  • Painted the walls Marble Tile by Allen + Roth
  • Dressed the windows with sheer Ikea curtains
  • Made a Sunburst Mirror to fill the space above the bed

Guest Bathroom

  • Replaced the old linoleum floor with crisp, white tiles
  • Painted the bathroom vanity light grey
  • Put up bead board wallpaper and trim

Backyard

What we’ve done:

  • Installed a simple cement paver patio
  • Built a deck using pallets and decking wood
  • Planted grass and flowers
  • Stained the fence
  • Built custom benches

Front Door

  • Revamped our front doors with glass frosting spray, paint and a decal (more details here)
